No one wishes for this situation, yet it happens again and again: A conflict escalates to such an extent that the parties involved cannot find a constructive solution without external help. ILD can help! In Situational Coaching, the participants are coached through the situation together in an intensive process using professional crisis and intervention techniques.
Individual formats: We clarify all details in a joint initial meeting.
In the case of deadlocked and increasingly escalating conflicts involving several people and/or teams, our Situational Coaching approaches conflict management together with all those involved – based on the Conflict Dynamics Profile® method. All relevant persons face each other in a protected space, talk openly together and are coached in a solution-oriented way. This emotionally intensive setting is open-ended. It serves to make interpretations, knowledge and emotions transparent in order to make options for action visible and to be able to jointly design solution spaces. Verbalizing emotions is important and necessary for achieving results. The goal is to reach an understanding that is supported by everyone: clear agreements that are monitored for compliance.
When a conflict escalates dramatically, the causes always lie deeper. In order to find a solution that is also successful in the long term, it is imperative that Situational Coaching is embedded in a subsequent coaching or governance process. Only in this way can the participants develop conflict competencies with which disputes can be resolved constructively. For this purpose, Situational Coaching can also be integrated into coaching as a proactive element. In this way, a transformation of a possible solution into the daily work routine can succeed. But here, too, the joint responsibility of the conflict partners for conflict resolution applies.
