ILD DYNAMIC DIALOGUES – Reflection on Dynamic Collaboration & Leadership (Part One)
Questions were asked by Frank Strathus (Founder and Managing Senior Partner, ILD).
During the first few days, the focus was clearly on the first part: intense discussions, new perspectives, and in-depth professional exchange.
The feedback from our South African guest, Quinton, regarding the 4Cs of Leadership® philosophy and its associated profiling methods was particularly compelling.
His conclusion: The concept is not only convincing but, above all, practical and intuitive. In particular, linking the 4Cs with profiling tools to measure key competencies related to mindset and behavior offers a much deeper level of insight than many more generalized personality analyses.
One remark by Quinton really stuck with us:
“Ultimately, the question arises: what can be developed more quickly and effectively—personality, or mindset and behavior? Leaders generally have everything—except time. That’s why they want to see development approaches that deliver quick, lasting results. That is exactly what the ILD focus stands for.”
Thank you, Quinton, for this valuable perspective.
We see it the same way: Successful leadership doesn’t start with describing personality, but with the conscious development of mindset and behavior. That is where impact is created. That is where leadership emerges. But now, back to our Wiener Schnitzel—a specialty at one of Germany’s most beautiful tennis clubs (TC 1899 Blau-Weiss Berlin).
The coming days promise further exciting insights—both professional and cultural.
