Frank Strathus founded ILD in 2011 together with Stefan Schöänholz. As an internationally experienced top manager in the field of HR and business partnering, Frank is curious about people who want to improve themselves and their teams. He is a recognized expert in the field of executive and team diagnostics (profiling & development center) and a passionate creator of dynamic and effective leadership. Together with Stefan Schönholz, he launched the ILD Leadership Award , which is presented annually.

As a management consultant, Arndt Kempen supports organizations on their way into the future. He is enthusiastic about new forms of leadership, strategy and organization and is convinced that the decisive factor for success is not only to design an organization consistently, but also to live it in daily leadership actions.
For Arndt, leadership and organizational design are two sides of the same coin, and effective leadership is a question of attitude. In his consulting work, he therefore combines a systemic understanding of organization with a focus on people as the center of economic action. As an economist and executive coach, Arndt’s focus is on issues of corporate management, strategy development and the further development of leadership skills. It is important to him that conceptual ideas and solutions are put into practice.
When Arndt Kempen is not on the road for the Institute for Leadership Dynamics, he can be found on excursions with his wife and two daughters, running along the Mauerweg or socializing with friends. As a child of the Ruhr region, he still eagerly awaits the results of VfL Bochum or discovers culinary highlights in his new home of Berlin.

ILD co-founder Stefan Schönholz has stepped down from operational management but continues to support us as a competent partner and psychologist with his international experience as former VP HR and labor director of corporations in selected projects and as ILD advisory board chairman. He is a recognized HR expert in areas including leadership issues, restructuring, and labor relations.
Together with Frank Strathus, he established the ILD Leadership Award, which is presented annually.

After serving in the German Armed Forces for12 years as a captain and company commander, Stefan Schönholz completed a complete career transition in the HR field up to Labor Director, VP HR and international HR Business Partner. He is a highly experienced executive & master conflict coach.
In addition to his expertise from many years of international HR work, Stefan has an extensive network due to his activities as an honorary judge at regional labor courts, on the (regional) board of the DGFP and on the board of health insurance companies and employers’ associations.
He devoted himself with particular interest to the topic of “good leadership”, which is why he founded the Institute for Leadership Dynamics together with Frank Strathus in 2011.
Thinking not in terms of problems but in terms of solutions and being in love with success aptly describes his optimistic outlook and pragmatic approach.
In addition to writing, cooking (and eating well), the un-retired man is driven by traveling in his motor home.
