“The future depends on what we do today.” This wisdom of Mahatma Gandhi is more relevant than ever. Unfortunately, for many of the current challenges, there is not enough experience to fall back on.

In times of uncertainty, it is our faith, our strengths and the quality of our interpersonal relationships that give us energy, momentum and confidence. This is the age of overarching collaborations, bold new thinking and consistent action for the future.

MTI Partner Meeting at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg

On Jan.15th Frank and Stefan participated as members of the Advisory Board in the MTI Partner Meeting at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg (USA, Florida).

The Mediation Training Institute (MTI) ® is a division of the Leadership Development Institute (LDI) at Eckerd College and is the foremost provider of training, certification, licensing, and consulting in workplace conflict management and mediation. Since 1980, LDI at Eckerd College has delivered high-quality, assessment-based leadership programs to thousands of leaders. As a Network Associate of the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL®) in Greensboro, North Carolina, LDI serves the needs of the national and international business community.

Afterwards on Jan. 16th and 17th ILD Board Members (Kerstin, Frank and Stefan) participated in the “Conflict Resolution and Mediation Conference“ at Eckerd College.

More than 80 international Coaches from North- and South Amerika, Asia, Afrika and Europe shared their experience and received newest research results about conflict in context to culture, neurological impacts of stress in conflict situations and resilience management.

In this context Frank and Stefan gave a very well received plenary lesson regarding „Integration of CDP and EMP in a Change Process 4.0 – a real case study“.

Now back in Europe we can assert: a real good investment in our knowledge to ensure, that ILD as a leading Leadership Institute is state-of-the-art to the advantage of our customers.

ILD new sponsor at SCC (one of Berlin’s leading sport clubs and organizer of the Berlin Marathon).

Season opened: exciting game in mega new outfit.

The SCC field hockey team played their opening game away at Rotation in the outfit of the new sponsor Institute for Leadership Dynamics (ILD). With the slogan tracks4me had probably unintentionally predicted the number of goals. A great game ended 4:4, with SCC overcoming a 1:3 deficit with passion, enthusiasm and team spirit.

Frank Strathus, founder and managing partner of ILD was enthusiastic and saw himself confirmed in the decision for this team already after getting to know the team: “the spirit, the passion and the will for development can be felt in this team even as an outsider from the first minutes. This fits the tracks4me product, in that it is about coached future planning and development of young adults.”

tracks4me is an ILD product and supports young adults in matching passion and strengths with a suitable job profile. Which job suits me? Which competence should be developed for it, on which “playing field” do I want to shape my professional future? Questions that apply to sports just as much as they do to career orientation.

The team also went into the first touch with ILD. There was only positive feedback even after the game. There could be a special “track”.

Not only the season opening was successful, the first home game ended with 1:0 for the SCC against Osternienburg and then followed the away victory with 5:1 in Jena with accompanying table leadership. Keep up on track!
