Certified training as a Conflict Coach (CDP Practitioner).
Conflict competence does not mean avoiding conflicts. Rather, it is about eliminating negative effects and harnessing the positive energy of difference that is expressed in conflicts. In this way, conflict competence has an enormously positive impact on productivity, quality and risk management, innovation, and the shaping of change in any organization.
The goal of the training is to enable you to diagnose the conflict profile of individuals and teams using the scientifically standardized Conflict Dynamics Profile® (CDP) method developed in the USA. Based on this, you will be able to initiate role-based consulting or targeted coaching to develop conflict competencies (behavior and emotion) as a key competence of cooperation and leadership. Through this internationally certified Conflict Coach™ training, you will expand your business portfolio and be able to use the CDP method commercially.
This Qualification is provided by ILD’s international Master Coaches. ILD is a long-standing strategic cooperation partner and advisory board member of the Mediation Training Institute (MTI) at Eckerd College, FL/USA. The MTI is the developer and worldwide IP rights holder of the Conflict Dynamics Profile®. Master Coaches receive ongoing training and development at MTI in the USA. ILD or its Master Coaches are also members and EU representatives on the Advisory Board.
With our online qualification to become a Conflict Coach™ (CDP Practitioner) including training & certification, we are able to align the training flexibly and in parallel to the job (individually or also in groups). The training is based on the Conflict Dynamics Profile® (method, test diagnostics, intervention & development tools).

This ILD group training is a field-tested intensive training with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 participants.
Practice phase for practicing with the preparation, implementation and follow-up of a CDP-I profiling and feedback interview with a volunteer from the personal environment.

After successful certification as a Conflict Coach and well-founded experience in the use of the methods, CDP test diagnostics and development tools, there is the possibility exclusively at ILD of continuing training to become a “Senior Conflict Coach” (SCC).
Focus of the training:
- Best practice in the use of CDP- CDP 360: Application, preparation/administration and support, preparation and interpretation of results, moderation in the implementation process of CDP 360- Becoming Conflict Competent: CDP and other tools in direct crisis intervention (e.g. “Information Wheel & Listening Circle”)- Team development with the CDP-I and/or CDP 360
Option: Face-to-face – real coaching as a deepening.
The training includes seminar documentation including literature and supplementary materials.
Learning objective: accompanied deepening of what has been learned in practice, tool supplementation and exchange of experience.
Train the Trainer: After successful certification as a Conflict Coach and Senior Conflict Coach and thus on the basis of well-founded experience in the use of the methods, the CDP test diagnostics and the development tools, there is the possibility of training as a Conflict Trainer (CDP) exclusively at ILD. The goal is the implementation of ILD training courses – for example in cooperation with ILD and with certification by ILD.
